This presentation will describe the Opioid Crisis Missouri is facing, what factors contributed to the crisis and how the crisis has impacted the workforce in Missouri. The presentation will provide basic information about why a person develops a substance use disorder and the best approaches to treat the disorder. The presentation will discuss what the State of Missouri is doing to fight the crisis and how each individual can be a part of the solution.
