Pre-employment assessments essentially help recruiters to understand what positions and environments will work best for talent optimization. In this presentation Kara and Larissa Wollard will talk about the importance of preemployment assessments, how to use them to find the best employees for your organization, an introduction to PI (Predictive Index). While PI is not a decision maker, VUHL uses this tool to better understand our employees and to help guide them toward success.  From career chats to team building and coaching opportunities, learn how we utilize PI to optimize employee performance.

An Assessment will be sent to you via email prior to the meeting

Predictive Index is probably the quickest assessment you’ll ever experience. It will take less than 5 minutes. Probably closer to 2-3. Answer the prompts honestly and go with your first instincts! The email will be coming from Predictive Index, not from a VU email address. They do sometimes land in the junk folder, so if you don’t receive it by October 6th, please reach out to kara.leonard@vu.com and let her know. You will receive your results at the October meeting where we will be discussing the assessment and how VU uses it.

Please complete the assessment by October 9th.

These programs include Employee Relations, Talent Management, and Talent Acquisition. She has worked in both the Kansas City and Central Missouri markets, helping to connect individuals to their perfect career.

As a Senior People Development Partner, Kara works directly with employees and leaders at Veterans United Home Loans to help individuals focus on their growth, both personally and professionally. She accomplishes this through a combination program offerings and individual coaching. Kara assists those seeking career enhancement, mental wellness, leadership development and professional guidance.

*We will be doing a 50/50 raffle prior to the meeting, with the winner being announced at the end.  The proceeds go to the  SHRM Foundation, a non-profit SHRM affiliate that is dedicated to elevating and empowering Human Resources as a social force.  We will only be accepting cash.  $5 per ticket or 5 tickets for $20.

A 50/50 raffle is a process in which you sell numbered tickets to buyers at a predetermined selling price. From here, the person whose ticket is drawn receives half of the total amount of the “pot”, while the other half goes to the benefiting organization, usually a charitable foundation.
