Description:

Do you work in Human Resources? People Operations? The Personnel Department? Whatever you call it, if you find yourself consulting, advising and leading the people-centered resources of your organization, then you likely work in what is commonly referred to as “Human Resources” or “HR”.  Have you ever considered the emotional and physical toll working in HR has on you? In this session, participants will learn what work situations can lead to toxic emotions, why researchers refer to HR professionals as toxin handlers, and how to implement the Model of Care for Toxin Handlers to specific work situations. This session will include an experiential learning activity.
