Breakfast and networking from 7:45am to 8:10am

Presentation starting at 8:15am

This interactive session is designed to help HR leaders strengthen their employee wellness efforts by understanding what employees truly need, knowing when and how to delegate concerns to qualified professionals, and confidently connecting employees with trusted resources.

Participants will explore workforce well-being through the lens of real workplace challenges, gaining insight into employee perspectives while learning how to balance compassion, boundaries, and compliance. The session emphasizes practical decision-making: recognizing when an issue should be handled internally, escalated to leadership, or referred to external experts.

Attendees will also become familiar with local and online support resources that can be leveraged to assist employees beyond the workplace. HR leaders will leave with actionable tools and resource awareness they can apply immediately.

This session is ideal for HR professionals seeking practical guidance, increased confidence, and real-world solutions for supporting employee well-being while maintaining appropriate professional boundaries.

HR professionals will feel empowered to delegate appropriately by understanding HR’s role versus the role of licensed or specialized experts when addressing employee wellness concerns. Gain a deeper understanding of employee perspectives, helping them respond more effectively and empathetically to wellness-related conversations. Identify trusted local and online resources that can be used to support employee well-being, reduce risk, and strengthen overall wellness programs.

Kevin Bartolacci

Kevin Bartolacci has worked in the financial services industry since 1993. He has worked for companies such as New York Life and Prudential Financial and has been with Sundvold Financial since 2006. Kevin serves as the Director of Research and Education, focusing on retirement planning for both corporate and individual clients.

Throughout his career, Kevin has pursued advanced credentialing. The designation most important to him is the AIF® (Accredited Investment Fiduciary). A fiduciary is a legal standard—not a marketing term—and it requires placing the client’s interests ahead of one’s own.

Kevin earned his degree in Sociology from the University of Missouri. While this may not be considered a “traditional” degree for someone with his credentials, Kevin is deeply passionate about behavioral economics. The combination of his academic background and advanced credentialing makes him an outlier in the financial services industry.

In addition, Kevin has served as an adjunct professor at Westminster College, where he taught Portfolio Management and Investments.
